Nita’s communication to the after school MG/4H class:
Gardening week will be at the Fairground garden tomorrow.
We will customize our individual garden markers. We will also take a picture with the beautiful cover crop that you planted.
We will start returning all those nutrients to the soil tomorrow and enjoy what a great job we’ve done of tamping down that huge growth of weeds that we were dealing with last year. I have the seeds, plants and bulbs that you ordered and we will get at least some of them in pots or into the ground.
It looks like the weather will cooperate for us this month. If you were not at the meeting for ordering, do not worry; we can still have you choose what you ant to plant from the catalog or from the seeds and plants that we have available.Leslie and I will have the tools already for you at the Fairgrounds.
Come as soon as you can after school.I’m hoping that ALL of you will be able to make the meeting as many of you have plantings that can not wait to start growing.
