On Saturday April 11th 16 Master Gardeners and friends traveled to Windcliff, Dan Hinkley and Robert Jones’ private 6.5 acre garden and home. The tour was guided by Dan who was very generous with his time and knowledge. It’s a spectacular site with an amazing view of the Seattle skyline and Mt. Rainier. Dan and Robert have created a unique garden with many interesting plants from around the world, as well as native plants. I also enjoyed the art pieces around the house and garden. Like many of us they are also growing organic vegetables. Some of us bought plants to add to our garden and to remind us of our beautiful day at Windcliff. We also enjoyed a potluck lunch at Candice’s sweet cabin in Indianola.
