After a two-year hiatus, the very popular Secret Garden Tour, organized by the Jefferson County Master Gardener Foundation (JCMGF), returns on Saturday, June 18. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., ticket holders can visit seven diverse gardens in Port Townsend, including a novel food garden, a Great Picks sustainable garden, cozy cottage styles, and spacious ornamental landscapes.
Tickets are available at the Port Townsend Garden Center, Secret Garden Nursery, Shold Landscape Products and Garden Center, Chimacum Corner Farm Stand, and online at Brown Paper Tickets (brownpapertickets.com/event/5446440). Day-of-the-event tickets will be sold at the Port Townsend Library.
Cost is $15 for advance tickets and $20 for day-of tickets.
PORT ANGELES
The next Saturday, June 25, the Master Gardener Foundation of Clallam County is offering its 27th Annual Home Garden Tour: Petals and Pathways. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and take visitors to two lovingly tended in-town home gardens and four awesome woodland gardens along Highway 112, including a homestead worked by the same family since 1906.
Tickets are available at Over the Fence, Sunny Farms, and The Co-op in Sequim;
Port Book & News, Swain’s General Store, and Airport Garden Center in Port Angeles; Art & Antique in Joyce; and Forks Outfitters Services Center and Rusty Gate Nursery in Forks.
