Trish Morehead is WSU Master Gardener with a special interest in garden microclimates and four-season gardening. A Kentucky transplant, she has lived and gardened in western Washington since 2010. Trish produces an amazing amount of food from her small suburban backyard garden. Her love of arugula and turnip greens sparked her enthusiasm for the hoop system of year-round gardening. Trish will share how to use a medium hoop system to mitigate the impact of extreme weather events in the vegetable garden, and how to plan and prepare for them.
