Some of the saprophytic plants are starting to pop up at Fort Townsend Park. They can be found along the Huckleberry Hill Trail.
These plants do not photosynthesize and rely on the surrounding plants and mycorrhizae for their nutrition. This sacrophyte is called Pinesap.
