To date, a wonderful cadre of master gardeners have researched and written a great series of columns for Jefferson County readers. In their columns they have managed to weave together WSU-based gardening knowledge and personal experience to deliver helpful gardening advice.

But we always need more help – and that means YOU!

A weekly column needs many master gardener authors. Writers come in all shapes and sizes, but you can help produce a column if:

* You’re a gardener at heart!
* If not a poet, you can at least outline some gardening advice in a particular area.
* You’ve some experience with what works & what doesn’t in our particular climate.
* You have a favorite gardening obsession.

So take a look at previous columns that have been published.  Then download the Article Format document so you know how to properly submit  the column.

Be assured you don’t have to work solo. You can partner with another master gardener or just give us the basics and we can edit and help organize your information. Earn master gardener hours! You can earn education hours for research you do for the article or regular hours for writing up the article.
